An important aspect of this Component is to foster citizens&#8217; trust in e-services by integrating data protection principles into the early stages of e-services development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key objectives of the Component is to <strong>promote Ukraine&#8217;s European integration by supporting the implementation of European integration reforms in the area of data protection<\/strong>. This includes the adoption of a new version of the Law of Ukraine on Personal Data Protection, as well as the harmonisation of Ukrainian legislation with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition, EU4DigitalUA supports the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by conducting assessments of various draft laws submitted to the parliament for compliance with European Union law (EU acquis).
