Today, R\u00e9mi Duflot, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, participated at the <em>Country of e-Entrepreneurs<\/em> event in Kyiv, where five additional services within the e-entrepreneur framework were introduced. These new features simplify business processes for thousands of Ukrainian entrepreneurs, creating a more resilient and efficient environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cToday, Ukraine demonstrates how digital innovation can bolster economic growth and resilience even in today\u2019s most challenging circumstances. By helping to develop the e-Entrepreneur integrated service through its EU4DigitalUA and DT4UA projects, the European Union is helping Ukraine to make entrepreneurs\u2019 lives easier. It is important because entrepreneurs are the backbone of the country\u2019s economic recovery. This know-how-solution represents an absolute milestone towards the safety, efficiency and transparency of Ukraine\u2019s business administration,\u201d said <strong>R\u00e9mi Duflot<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its initial launch on the Diia platform this July, the e-Entrepreneur service has provided a one-stop-shop for starting and managing a business online, eliminating much of the traditional administrative burden. This latest update, supported by the EU, enhances the platform\u2019s capabilities, further reinforcing the EU\u2019s commitment to Ukraine\u2019s digital transformation and economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cUkrainian businesses play a key role in the country\u2019s development. On our part, as the government, we are doing everything possible to make life easier for entrepreneurs \u2013 removing unnecessary bureaucracy, providing incentives for growth, and creating the best conditions for scaling. This is exactly the principle behind the integrated e-Entrepreneur service on the Diia portal. It\u2019s another revolution in public services, allowing business owners to spend time growing their businesses rather than waiting in lines or gathering documents. Now, opening or scaling a business can be done with a single application in just a few minutes, instead of 1.5 months of visiting government offices,\u201d said <strong>Mykhailo Fedorov<\/strong>, Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies \u2014 Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The five new services introduced today include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Unified tax payment account<\/strong>: Enables entrepreneurs to pay taxes quickly and accurately, avoiding errors and overpayments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital employee registration<\/strong>: Allows entrepreneurs to register employment contracts remotely, making hiring easier and fully online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fiscal and electronic cash register setup<\/strong>: Simplifies cash register setup, avoiding the need for in-person visits to tax offices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Electronic submission of Form 20-OPP<\/strong>: Allows electronic submission of tax registration for business locations without physical visits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bank account opening<\/strong>: Provides entrepreneurs with a direct option to open accounts with two new partner banks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The EU has supported the development of an integrated e-entrepreneur service within the EU4DigitalUA and DT4UA projects, implemented by the e-Governance Academy (eGA) with a combined investment of over 584 000 EUR. However, the e-entrepreneur is only part of the larger EU\u2019s support for building Ukraine\u2019s digital infrastructure, providing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with convenient access to government services, reducing bureaucratic barriers, and supporting economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThis service was designed with Ukrainian entrepreneurs in mind. What makes the Ukrainian e-Enterpreneur solution truly unique is its scalability. The same technology can be easily applied to various life- or business-event-based services. Whether it\u2019s opening a business, managing personal legal affairs, or handling complex administrative tasks, this technology can spill over to other spheres and meet the needs of any life or business event. It\u2019s a tool that can serve not only entrepreneurs but every Ukrainian citizen,\u201d said <strong>Ingrid Toonekurg<\/strong>, Member of the Management Board of the e-Governance Academy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The e-entrepreneur service is a digital public service for Ukrainian entrepreneurs developed to streamline business registration and management. Launched on Ukraine\u2019s Diia portal, the service allows users to register and expand their businesses from any internet-connected device. Since its launch, e-entrepreneur has significantly reduced the time and complexity of starting a business in Ukraine, from a month and a half to as little as 15 to 40 minutes. The service is available to all Ukrainians who wish to register a new business or modify an existing one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is part of the EU broader support for Ukraine\u2019s digitalisation under the EU4DigitalUA and DT4UA projects, implemented by the e-Governance Academy.
