It presented the importance of the EU-supported Trembita system for the digital transformation of Ukraine, its impact on the life of citizens and functioning of state institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><i>\u201cThe EU enthusiastically supports the development of e-governance in Ukraine. I am proud that the Trembita system, created by the \u201cU-LEAD with Europe\u201d programme, is the backbone of Ukrainian e-governance infrastructure,&nbsp;said<\/i><strong style=\"\"><i>&nbsp;Ambassador Matti Maasikas, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine<\/i><\/strong>.<em>&nbsp;\u201cIt improves the quality of electronic public services provision both at the central and local levels&nbsp;supporting successful implementation of both decentralisation and digital transformation reforms in Ukraine. The EU will continue supporting the Trembita system in the framework of the EU4DigitalUA project to achieve effective, transparent and sustainable public service delivery for citizens and businesses. We are moving forward together!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of&nbsp;March&nbsp;2021, more than&nbsp;80&nbsp;authorities and local governments have joined the&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system.&nbsp;More than 40 state electronic registers and information systems are switched to the system. More than 180 interactions&nbsp;have been established&nbsp;between electronic registers and information systems of government authorities through the&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system. These interactions serve as the basis for e-service development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cTrembita is one of the key elements in building of the digital state. Thanks to this secure data exchange system, the M<\/em><em>inistry<\/em><em>&nbsp;of Digital&nbsp;<\/em><em>Transformation<\/em><em>&nbsp;has achieved extraordinary results in the field of e-governance in a short time. I am sincerely grateful to our international partners for their support and assistance to Ukraine on the path of digital transformation,&#8221;&nbsp;said&nbsp;<strong>Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister &#8211; Minister of Digital Transformation&nbsp;of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an example,&nbsp;the&nbsp;popular services&nbsp;eBaby&nbsp;and ID-14&nbsp;are&nbsp;operating&nbsp;based on the&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system. It provides the verifications of the individual tax number in the Diia mobile application. In the next months, the&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system will facilitate online registration of&nbsp;one\u2019s&nbsp;residence.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) &nbsp;operating in the information system &#8220;Vulyk&#8221; can connect to the system, thus getting access to the electronic registers of central and local governments and serve citizens faster and better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cProvision of high-quality public services onsite from ASCs or online\u202fimproves the lives of citizens and also facilitates the local business development\u201c, said<\/em>\u202f<strong><em>Susanna Dellans, U-LEAD programme director from Sida<\/em><\/strong><em>. \u201cConnecting all ACSs using \u201cVulyk\u201d information system\u202fwith Trembita\u202fsystem\u202fopens new\u202fpossibilities for ASCs to get the data from governmental electronic registers. This makes the work of ASCs even more efficient\u202fand helps to build the capacity of hromadas.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trembita&nbsp;system was&nbsp;developed and implemented&nbsp;between 2016&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;2021&nbsp;within the EGOV4UKRAINE project of the&nbsp;U-LEAD with Europe&nbsp;programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Making data run, not people\u201d is the slogan of the EGOV4UKRAINE project, and the Trembita system brings it to fruition in the best way. The Trembita system ensures the interaction and secure data exchange between state registers and information systems, laying the basis for the electronic service provision for citizens and businesses,\u201d said\u202f <strong>Mari Pedak, Team\u202fLeader of the EGOV4UKRAINE\u202fproject<\/strong>. \u202f\u201cWe are grateful for the fruitful cooperation with\u202fMinistry of Digital Transformation and other Ukrainian government institutions. Together we managed to achieve this ambitious goal. &#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system is&nbsp;based on&nbsp;the Estonian-origin backbone for government e-services.&nbsp;Today, it is possible to receive 99% of all public services online in Estonia.&nbsp;The EGOV4UKRAINE project&nbsp;is&nbsp;implemented by e-Governance Academy (eGA,\u202fEstonia)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Ukraine is the largest country in the world where the&nbsp;Estonian-<\/em><em>origin<\/em><em>&nbsp;data exchange platform is fully&nbsp;<\/em><em>functional<\/em><em>.&nbsp;<\/em><em>Building&nbsp;on the&nbsp;achievements of&nbsp;the&nbsp;EGOV4UKRAINE&nbsp;project,&nbsp;we continue our collaboration with the government of Ukraine within the&nbsp;EU-supported&nbsp;EU4DigitalUA&nbsp;project. We are happy to assist in making digital transformation happen&nbsp;in Ukraine!\u201d,<\/em>&nbsp;said\u202f<strong>Hannes&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Astok<\/strong><strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Executive Director\u202fof&nbsp;e-Governance Academy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;System Conference was held&nbsp;within the EGOV4UKRAINE project of the U-LEAD with Europe decentralisation support&nbsp;programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Trembita&nbsp;system was developed and implemented in 2016 &#8211; 2021 within the EGOV4UKRAINE project of the U-LEAD with Europe programme by the e-Governance Academy and IT companies&nbsp;Cybernetica&nbsp;AS (Estonia) and&nbsp;SoftExpansion&nbsp;(Ukraine).
