Digitalisation of the criminal justice system

As of June 2023, the Office of the Prosecutor General has recorded 130,000 war crimes committed by the russian military, and the number is growing every day.  Sometimes the case files can fill an entire room. So, given the volume and the long and complex process of investigations, the main objective of the project in this area is to develop and implement improved IT solutions for Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, namely:

  • Creation of a modern e-case management system. It will facilitate and speed up the work of law enforcement agencies, as well as help in cooperation with international partners.
  • Strengthening existing IT solutions and infrastructure of law enforcement agencies. This will ensure reliable and secure online processing of criminal cases.
  • Automation and improvement of current e-processes of criminal justice. These actions will help in processing large amounts of data and allow to focus on analysing and solving complex tasks instead of routine data entry.
