This Privacy Policy has been developed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and other applicable regulations, in order to guarantee at all times the fundamental right to data protection.

The data you provide us as a web user and/or that is collected through forms on the EU4DigitalUA website implemented in Ukraine, have the purpose of maintaining the relationship that you have or require with our organization. The purpose of this Policy is to inform the data subjects, whose personal data is being collected, about the specific processing of their data, the purposes of the processing, the contact details to exercise their rights, the retention periods for the information, and the security measures, among other things.

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

The personal data that may be collected directly from the data subject will be incorporated into the corresponding processing activities owned by FIIAPP

The processing activities carried out by FIIAPP, as well as the purposes for which they are carried out, are reflected in its Record of Processing Activities.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

To fulfill our mission of managing international cooperation projects for development, including participation in twinning projects, delegated cooperation, technical assistance, expert mobilization, security, and justice projects organized by  FIIAPP.

To send information and newsletters about the programs of EU4DigitalUA project through electronic means, even after our relationship has ended unless the interested person expresses otherwise.

To invite you to events and/or conferences organized from EU4DigitalUA.

To respond to inquiries and provide information.

Photographs, videos, and images taken during various events may be used for dissemination through publications, websites, social networks, etc. For the maintenance, development, and execution of a contractual relationship that we have with you, in the case of: (i) service provision; (ii) employment, commercial, administrative relationships, among others.

Lawful basis for processing.

The processing of your personal data is justified by the execution and maintenance of the contractual relationship between you and EU4DigitalUA project. Additionally, it is also justified by your explicit consent, given at the time of collecting the personal data that you voluntarily provide to us through the mechanisms/forms enabled on the website.

The processing of your personal data for additional purposes, such as sending information about activities, newsletters about programs, activities, and/or organizing events and conferences by EU4DigitalUA, is based on the legitimate interests of our organization and your consent provided in the privacy notice included in the data collection form.

Third-party transfers and Data retention

Your personal data is the full responsibility of FIIAPP and may be transferred to third parties due to legal obligations and in cases derived from the processing activities in which you participate, to:

Public Administrations: to fulfill legal obligations.

The European Commission and the specific partners of the project consortium (Technical Assistance/Project Secretariat), which may be located outside the European Economic Area.

We inform you that FIIAPP will store the data for the duration of the relationship with the user. In this case, they will be processed solely for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with our legal obligations. After the expiry of these prescription periods, your data will be deleted.

In other cases, unless you request their removal, they will be kept blocked in accordance with the minimum retention periods required by current legislation and during the applicable legal prescription periods.

International Data Transfers.

FIIAPP may use the services of third-party providers located outside the European Economic Area in countries that no longer offer an adequate level of protection. Therefore, you consent to the processing of your data without the adequate guarantees required by European regulations. In any case, contracts have been concluded with these companies to safeguard the security of personal data in accordance with the terms established by European regulations.

Your personal data may also be communicated to third countries involved in the specific cooperation project in which you participate as a professional expert, even if those countries do not have an adequate level of protection. This international transfer of data is necessary for the execution of the project, and your participation implies your consent to it. What are your rights?

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object, restrict the processing, and data portability by contacting the FIIAPP by sending your request to info@eu4digitalua.eu, accompanied by a copy of your ID document to duly prove your identity. In any situation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman Office of Ukraine.
