From October 31, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to submit applications online and receive the opinion of the Ministry of Economy regarding the extension of the deadlines for settlements in the field of international trade. The service has already started working in beta testing mode and will become available en masse in December 2024. The launch takes place within the framework of the e-Permit project, which is implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and financed by the European Union within the framework of the EU4DigitalUA project implemented by FIIAPP.
All legal entities and non-profit organisations engaged in foreign economic activity can participate in the beta testing. As part of the test, the service will be available to the first 100 entrepreneurs who apply for it. During the testing, an operational support service will work to help resolve possible issues. After the successful completion of the test and taking into account the feedback from the business, the service will be fully launched.
“The digitalisation of the extension of the deadline for currency settlements is something that Ukrainian exporters and importers have been asking for a long time. Now you don’t need to go to banks and government offices: documents can be submitted online in less than an hour. The system will automatically check the application, help correct errors, and save time. This step will reduce the risk of delays, fines, and account blocking. We expect that the international agreements will be completed faster, which will contribute to the faster return of the currency to Ukraine,” said First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
Extension of settlement deadlines is possible only for individual operations on export and import of goods. The service refers to goods, the manufacture or delivery of which requires a long period of time. For example, industrial equipment, medical and military equipment, as well as products ordered through international tenders. In 2023, the Ministry of Economy issued about 1,500 conclusions on the extension of settlement deadlines, and almost 600 in the first half of this year.
You can test the service on the Diia portal. For this you need:

2 – Fill out the form.
3 – Check your mail – within 10 working days, you will receive a letter about the start of beta testing with step-by-step instructions.
“We are pleased to continue supporting e-Permit, as it is one of the key initiatives for the EU4DigitalUA project and the FIIAPP team. We are also glad that a second permit is now available within this service. The growing availability of digital solutions like this is essential for making business processes in Ukraine more efficient and accessible,” said María Gastón Betrán, FIIAPP Technical Institutional Coordinator for the EU4DigitalUA project.
As a reminder, in September, within the framework of the e-Permit project, the service of registering a declaration of compliance of the material and technical base with the requirements of labor protection legislation was launched.
