“Updated Informatics — IT-Studios” Presentation for Educators

On September 26th at 14:00, the presentation “Updated Informatics — IT-Studios” for schools will take place. IT-Studios is an EU-funded project aimed at rethinking the school informatics curriculum and adapting the education to modern global IT practices. Its goal is to update digital educational resources along the following content lines: digital literacy, media creation, computational thinking and programming, data analysis and modeling, and digital citizenship. The pilot project was successfully completed last academic year in the framework of the EU4DigitalUkraine programme, with 50 schools and 3,000 students participating under the guidance of 70 teachers.

IT-Studios materials are ready for use and are being tested by pilot educational institutions across Ukraine. For all educational institutions, the updated materials will become available on September 26th after the public presentation. The event will benefit school directors, teachers, parents, and students – anyone interested in the development of Computer Science in Ukraine.
