Development of an electronic cabinet and signature widget for IEIS

Within the EU4DigitalUA project funded by the European Union, the e-Governance Academy (Estonia) has launched a tender for the development of a user electronic cabinet and signature widget to modernize the Integrated Electronic Identification System (IEIS).

The updated electronic cabinet and signature widget should integrate into the IEIS infrastructure, directing the system towards full digitalization of user identification processes. The main goal is to enhance security, confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of information, automate identification and authentication processes of users, and improve user interaction mechanisms with the system.

The tender envisages the development of the following modules:

  1. “Identification Module” – for authentication and identification of users in ISEI.
  2. “Event Registration Module” – for monitoring access to resources and registering changes in the system.
  3. “Signature and Confirmation Module” – for creating, signing, and sending applications and acts through the EC.

Applications to participate in the tender can be submitted until September 21, 2023. Participation conditions and technical requirements are available on the Estonian public procurement portal at the link:
